Cats!!!!

First painting of 2025 has begun....

An absolute labour of love. I don't paint animals as I find them so so so so difficult to paint. ... A number of weeks ago we had to say goodbye to our little Purdy, which was one of the hardest things ever. She had 17 years with us, and we spoilt her every second of every day - devastated is an understatement.

So I am now inspired, after a lengthy artist block, to paint our Purdy, and then I thought of our other 2 cats that left us many many years ago.

So I'm totally going for it! All or nothing, and can easily mess it up at any time. I just have the fur to paint in now. I hope I do my girls proud ... no idea how to complete these darlings, wish me luck!
