Maze by Day / Meze by Night

The secret painting has been handed over to its new owners! I must say, I was delighted with the reaction 🤓 ...

Pargeting? Oh yes! I have created some fab decorative waterproof plastering of my own. The actual pargeting on these walls is gorgeous and Essex is known for this type of practice and I have so loved creating this with thick rounded strokes of acrylic paint, using my palette knife. This Turkish cafe/restaurant really is gorgeous from the outside in, it doesn't stop! It has so much detail in its signage, that beautiful arched bay window, the reflections in the windows, the pathway outside, the menu board. It's such a fabulous cute building just oozing with character!

So here are just a few stages on how I created this one ...

Colorcraft was also captured in Emson Close, another pop of colour to add to the mix ...

Or so I thought ... but I felt something was missing ... so onwards...

I kept going ...
